New Hill:

New Hill is a fantastic area in between Apex and Holly Springs. There is more rolling topography and more scenic views than in other more urban areas, and more buyers seeking value and less traffic are gravitating to this area. Plus, being in Wake County, New Hill students attend Apex schools and hook into Apex utilities and services.


There is a large amount of land in Pittsboro being held by investors and developers who are seeking to draw the perfect mix of commercial/industrial corporations as well as develop attractive residential communities that could potentially bring more jobs for those seeking to be near their place of work. Pittsboro has been a bit slower to grow than anticipated, but many buyers already see the value and potential future expansion and have purchased there now in order to enjoy the proximity to amenities, such as Jordan Lake, while benefiting from the country feel still available.


Wendell has a host of new communities popping up, including popular Wendell Falls, an “all inclusive” community with a coffee shop, place to purchase food and other beverages as well as a playground and parks throughout. As the residential communities are growing, so are the commercial developments which will give homeowners many options to shop and visit in the upcoming years. Once thought to be very rural, Wendell is growing substantially and catching the eye of many buyers, investors and developers.


Once the 540 loop is finished, Clayton will be an even more convenient area for buyers. Currently only 20-30 minutes outside of Raleigh, many buyers are seeking the more country feel and value that Clayton offers. With a variety of community choices, including the equestrian community, Portofino, there is something for everyone.


Angier is gaining momentum as buyers see its impending potential. Buyers recognize that the value of Fuquay Varina is catching up to Holly Springs, and with Angier just a few minutes further out, just 10-15 minutes further, they can find incredible values in both Angier and neighboring Lillington. Both areas offer the small town feel that many buyers love.
