The lovely weather in NC allows you to enjoy outdoor activities year-round. Holly Springs has a very active Parks and Recreation Department that manages miles of trails and parks. Some of the favorite parks for locals to visit include Ting Park, featuring an 1,800-seat stadium which is home to the Holly Springs Salamanders, soccer fields, basketball courts, batting cages, tennis courts, and playgrounds; Womble Park, featuring soccer and baseball fields, sand volleyball courts, playground, picnic shelters, and pavilion for events; Bass Lake Park provides serene views and a nature trail that loops around the 54-acre lake and offers fishing and canoe rentals; Harris Lake features fishing, boating, playgrounds, and nature trails; Jones Park offers a disc-golf course, a baseball/softball field, playgrounds, fishing pond, and greenway access; and Sugg Farm Park is host to many family-friendly events throughout the year, including the popular Holly-Fest, which takes place each fall and highlights local artists, food trucks, businesses, and family-fun activities.

The Town offers many youth sports programs, including intro-league play, through the Parks and Rec Department, as well as an endless variety of classes ranging from dance to photography to theater and anything in between! The Hunt Center offers residents an indoor walking track for those rainy days, a fitness center, gymnasium, game room with table tennis and table soccer, and classrooms/meeting spaces for programs and community rental. The Holly Springs Outdoor Activities Schedule is updated every few weeks with more than a dozen cultural events scheduled throughout the year. Spring and Summer concerts at the Cultural Arts Center are free to the town during the summer, and there’s a local Farmer’s Market set up in downtown Holly Springs every weekend.
