North Carolina Agent Provides Information On New Home Construction In NC Triangle Area!

New Home Construction is about to explode in the Triangle Area of North Carolina!

 

Home Builders in the Triangle area of North Carolina are ramping up production in 2016 quicker than they did in 2015. The number of new residential building permits submitted in the first quarter of 2016 is up 17 percent.

Raleigh’s new residential building permits total 344 new permits issued in January, February and March 2016. Cary’s new home permits numbered 233 permits issued. Click here to view an interactive map that pinpoints where new single family home construction is happening.

North Carolina Agent shares county-by-bounty breakdown of residential building permits submitted in the first quarter 2016, as well as the percentage difference compared to the same period of 2015:

  • Wake County – 1,579, up 10 percent
  • Durham County – 448, up 36 percent
  • Johnston County – 297, up 25 percent
  • Chatham County – 120, up 5 percent
  • Franklin County – 106, up 83 percent
  • Orange County – 54, up 26 percent
  • Lee County – 22, down 8 percent

For Wake County, the largest growth was in Raleigh, followed by Fuquay Varina and Rolesville.
